It is truly an excellent fit. It pretty much looks like it was designed for the DP2. (It wasn't.)
I wouldn't want toi cut it...

(So far, they only make the paralel shade in the 2.5" size, internal measurement, and that happens to be right for the DP2.)

Hi Chebb,

I have never used the DP1. However the DP1 has the same camera body design and the same 2 1/2" LCD screen as the DP2. So the answer certainly is yes.
