For that matter, who makes it for the D300?

"15.56745 megapixels!!" Well, that certainly beats Canon, Pentax...

I think it was sarcasm, as in who really cares who makes it. And where has the size been indicated, or if there really is a D400. Yawn.
Nikonroumors.com has been following a lot of "leads" on this for the past two weeks. But we all know that rumors are rumors and I'll believe it when I see a press release from Nikon. However, the initial reports are between 14 - 16 mp... which seems reasonable.

If you pull the in-body stabilization motor off you can read "Canon" on the edge of the base where the sensor mounts to the Johnson flange.
