As some of you may know, I own and operate a Real Estate Marketing company. We shot our first tour with the LX3 last week for an agent's new listing.

All the photos were shot in RAW format- then processed through Silkypix. All my photography of homes are now shot in 16:9 format, so this was a natural fit.

Take a look:

Thank you!

Thank you, Howard. The LX3 really makes intimate interior photography quite nice-- without all the heavy hardware!

Nice shots indeed. But please, please, please lose the talking heads. The audio is fine, but the talking face is silly, takes up bandwidth, and adds nothing to the website.

Very nice photos and presentation. What software did you use to create the slide show?

Clint,
I must agree with Andy.
Very professional photos and presentation.

The fact it's like a 'new build' does bring a sense of cleanliness and enhancement to the presentation.

Love to know what price it's going for....
No sale mind you. I'm simply inquisitive.

I've a place in the UK very similar but brick built and the detail inside is very similar.

Our prices over here have been taking one heck of a nose-dive (and for the many who want to get on the property ladder ~ rightly so).

Thank you.

I like to retain natural shadows in interior shots. Sometimes, a flash tends to flatten out the depth of certain features (not always). With this set-up, I had plenty of available light to work with. Most importantly though, is the need to do a custom white balance. If you don't, everything else (furniture, carpets, etc) falls out of place and can be troublesome when a client actually visits a property and finds the color pallet has shifted. Even though this will always be the case for on-line viewing anyway.

I always use a tripod to stabilize.

as with the UK though, location will change the price by an order of magnitude.

hey Clint
nice work with the LX3

Im a contract RE shooter in au, i must say i like the feel of full ambient light, where i use fill flash and meter about 1/3 stop under.

I guess the problem with full ambient is you have to let the windows blow out, in a lot of cases that wouldnt be acceptable for me. But each to his/her own i guess.

Nice sharp shots, the tripod obviously works for you,
cheers

PS that guys right about the talking head, a grey background might be better too...

not screaming, like the passengers in his car....

Thank you Carol!
