I really appreciate your comments Heather. It means a lot to me and I'm so glad you enjoyed this series. It's been so much fun, and it's kind of sad for me that it's over. I can now focus on your beautiful Switzerland photos to lift my spirits. :)

Welcome to the forum!!! :) Good luck with your new FZ28. I know you will love it. (These photos were taken with the older FZ8, but the FZ28 is a wonderful camera too)

They're all winners, for sure, but the second gull with dune and snow fence? That's a wall hanger absolutely. I also loved the bog harvest and the rest as well. Now we'll have all these lovely autumn photos to carry us through the next 11 months after which I'm sure you'll outdo yourself.....again!

Thank you so much for your kind comments.....both with this set of photos and my other gazillion fall photos. :) I really appreciate it and I'm so glad you enjoyed them.

I'm glad you liked that gull shot. I was pretty happy with it too. I love shooting with the FZ8 on bright sunny days. That camera shines best on those days.

.. that "final" doesn't mean you'll stop looking for a nice fall shot or two. There are still some trees around here that haven't yet turned. I keep my eyes open as I drive to work daily. Almost stopped this morning for a yellow-orange maple near an old stone wall, but I already had a line of cars behind me with the drivers probably cussing me for going tooooo slowwww.

I'll always be looking for the next shot LOL....I know there's still a few trees around here that still have some nice color. I just probably won't post any more Fall shots here.......don't want to overdo it any more than I already have. :)

I hope you stop and take a photo of that tree and stone wall. I'd love to see it.....sounds beautiful!!! :)

Every single one looks great to me. Magnificent foliage color, beautifully captured. The 2nd gull picture especially is a winner. And the cranberry bog pictures are artistic AND interesting - I've never seen a cranberry harvest (except in an Ocean Spray commercial, and that didn't look nearly as nice) before.
