Hey, great images there. I posted a question a while ago about the capabilites of the 707. I don't own a 707 yet, but was wondering about the quality of the macro settings on the 707. Are these shots that you're showing with extra macro lenses, or staright out of the camera? If macro lenses, which ones? Also, did you do any cropping to these images? How close were you roughly from the bee? Sorry about the truckload of questions, but the macro questions are holding me back from buying this camera. ; )

On the ones today I used a plastic magnifying glass on a few and some I didn't I am not sure if any or all 5 of those were with or without to tell you the truth.. http://www.mxcat.com/index.htm these were all done with the bare camera , most at 2 inches give or take.. I do have to crop some but I don't usually zoom so most are from full wide.
Please can you expand on the settings EXP, Aperture, Lighting used ...

f3.5 1/250 manual mode,,ISO 100... I used a big cube battery flashlight for some,,, and a plastic magnifying glass for some,, I am not sure which ones tho. They were taken about 7pm so there was some sun from a low angle.

Thanks Derek. I thought it was. I have some in my garden, but they don't have flowers yet.
I have chosen plants that attract butterflies. Give me another month and you'll see me out there chasing butterflies with my Sony. Hopefully, they won't elude me!
