Dell price on Canon S9000

Linda--My shipping calculatedwhen I filled out the order;it was $18. I did not use the $50 coupon code as Dell is running a 10% off deal that includes half-price shipping. I was unable to get both and it was less for me to use this option. Hope your free shipping pans out.

Van--I don'tthink you can change it once you'veplaced the order; you could try calling Dell to see if they can update it.

Thats great...I used a different discount of the $40 off of a $300 purchase for a final price of $309 and then $18 for shipping. Evidently they didn't charge you any shipping for the 10% off. Either way we'll all benefit if they honor everything. They still have the $349 price on their site and I figured if it were a mistake, it would have been long gone by now. Just have to play the waiting game now.

I would have thought that they would have changed it by now too, but I'm assuming that acknowledgements and confirmations are probably done automatically.

Tomorrow will be the telling day, I would think!!!!

Yeeeehaaaa, just ordered mine, $318 total. I was waiting to get the Nikon cp5700 after the reviews come out and then the printer later but couldn't pass up on this deal! Thanks all!
I'm also looking for a dv-camcorder, anyone own a sony drc-120BT?

I just have to thank GD - I too, ordered and have confrimation. My price (not counting the inks and USB cable) amounted to $309. That is a heck of a saving over the best price I had seen before ($499.95). The timing was perfect for me. I had been reviewing the various printers for a couple of weeks and had settled on either a S900 or S9000. Dell's price solved that for me. S9000 for ever.....!!

I had also ordered one fifteen sheet package of Canon's paper - the shipping jumped from one half of $38.00 to one half of $52.00. I declined to order the paper - will pick that up locally. Guess I am just cheap (or careful

I've recently purchased a new Pro90 and an S330 -- but alas, no dice on the rebate for those models.

Good luck all. Hope Dell follows through. I have dealt with Dell and never again. They either never send a confirmation, cannot find your order or never meet the ship date. If you cancel, plan on 3 months for Dell to credit your card. Sorry to be negative, but wander over to the Dell customer care web site where people write in inquiring where there orders are.

I can understand your apprehension, know about the problems that folks have had with Dell and their accessories dept., and appreciate the warning. However, you are wrong on one count. If my credit card is charged for something I do not receive, my credit card company reverses it after one phone call. It will not take 3 months for the reversal. (Debit cards are a different story...)

KEWL BEANS! Thanks for getting the info on the refurbish issue.

The price might be correct for a very short time. I had an experience a few months ago with another printer. I was purchasing 2 printers for family members because of the super deal. Unfortunately, I got shutout cuz the sales rep and I were playing phone tag. It was a $200 dollar printer for $79 with an MFG rebate which brought the printer down to about 50 bucks, I think it was the Epson S90. The promo was for only a few days. The salesrep went to key in the order and the sku wasn't available... I freaked. He said they do that kinda stuff where they will have a promo one day and it will be gone the next.

So, lets all keep our fingers, toes and eyes crossed.

I got mine in about 3 minutes. Both order acknowledgement and confirmation e-mails were returned within 5 minutes. Maybe things are slow on the Dell server on a Sunday night!
