* * * * * * * Mini-Challenge #1 : Waterscapes * * * * * * *

First and foremost, only one person was lightly indjured. It was a gas explosion caused by workers, who were not present at the time. A woman was sick in bed on the floor right below but she could get away unharmed.

Curiously enough the street where the house stands is called 'Jan van der Heijdenstraat'. Jan van der Heijden is the guy that invented the fire hose/pump. He sold a few to Peter the Great, the famous Russian tsar.

...that this is the first time the image is published, so at least I didn't pull the old 13-in-a-dozen waterfall image from my archive. I made the photo just before the challemge started.

Therefore alone I think I deserve a change in the contest. Besides I desperately need to win because I have this great idea for the next challenge that will lift it to the next level. What we see now is the same as the old 'Show me your water pictures' thread. It's not a challenge at all.

I was thinking of entering but you've put me off! (Not really; I know I won't win but I'll enjoy taking part.) That valley pic is awesome and has made me realise I must get a remote release.

I didn't notice the people the first time I looked at this. What a beautiful shot. Excellent!

Okay the image embedding isn't working for me. I think I did everything the Help section said. Oh well, go look if you want to see it
