--I was about an hour earlier than Steve posting previews of all
three Nikon's (lots more information than Steve), I posted my D100
preview ages ago and updated in the last two weeks (again, much
more detail than Steve who has only posted a first look, not a
review).
What's your major malfuction Mike?

It would be better if he actually had a real complaint.

Steve's site had a news item posted on the 27th (it's gone now)
that stated that, depsite the fact that there had been a dearth of
news, Steve was in fact not sleeping, and that there were some
new camera reviews coming on Wednesday (today).
Look carefully at the original poster's (somewhat tortured)
grammar. He says that Phil was not sleeping, and that Steve was.
He seems to be telling Phil that he has earned some rest by
scooping Steve, who was asleep at the switch.
Clearly the original message could have been better written,
regardless of the intent of the poster. I just don't think that the
intent was necessarily that which others in this thread believe it
to have been.
By the way, I read both sites as well, and am pleased to have such
keen competition between them. I believe it has lead to the overall
excellent quality of reporting that we have today.
My two cents worth.

....Phil brought out some other perspectives...
Just because one person has the scoop on a camera, does not negate
another person's review of the very same camera. This is not how
information is properly used.
Gather ALL information from ALL reviews about the same camera, and
make your decisions.
Having just one perspective on any camera, is rather myopic and
just plain retarded in thought.
