****Challenge 43: Aperture Play****

For once more I find it difficult to choose between two relatively similar shots. Both were shot in the Athens Classic Marathon run in 4th of November 2007 (which btw is held at the course where the actual event took place about 2500 years ago-between the town of Marathon and the city of Athens.)Finaly I decided to compete with the 1st one posted here (can't really explain why...), but I'd also like to hear your comments about the other one. Would you choose the same or not?

Having the lens wide open added depth to this flower arrangement. Not quite 3D look, but close...

Very nice image there. The focus and light are excellent. Can I ask, did you use a flash here or is it all natural lighting?
