I also prefer the color version of the first pano. The color of the sky is really nice, and the bright red of the sign provides a nice little anchor.

...and I had started wondering where is Dez, we haven't seen something for some days... Glad you're back. I like the first pano, somehow different from the usual stuff. I prefer the color version and specially the red thing that stands out in the dark colors. (I read this is a Pepsi sign). The only thing I prefer about the B&W one is that you have brightened it better at the right side, making the nearby railing more visible. Perhaps if you apply that to the color version it will be spot on. And just a little comment: is it leaning a little to the right or do I see it like that? As for the rest I'm not big fan of graffitis, I realise that this particular one has a special meaning, it's just I don't find something special photographing them, or seeing photos of them. Just to let you know why I don't usualy comment when I see this kind of photos :-)
Regards Alex

My favourithe is the one of the bridge, I love the soft colors there. But all are very good.

Thanks for the suggestions Leung.
Anytime Dez... you know I'll share my mind.
On the 1st photo, I exposed for the brightest scene which was on the
left side of the pano. I knew that the right side would be
underexposed but would fix in post process. The B&W conversion was
just to see what it would look like in a different look. The Pepsi
Cola sign is nice but most people not from NY, wouldn't notice as
that sign isn't the subject.
Yeah... but it puts a nice balance to the photo... lighter on left and dark on right makes it imbalanced. The red, sorta makes the shot more balanced in a strange way.
Which WTC photo? The pano or the single frame? They both look
saturated enough to me! Perhaps the left side of the WTC panoe could
use a contrast adjustment.
Pano.... put a curve. I tried and it looks great!
Triboro & Hell Gate i'd like to do again but as you can see, i was
caught there in a bad day. Those clouds you see are actually a heavy
snow storm that came our way. I squeezed off some photos and left
just before snow fell :D
Yeah... isn't that place a great place to hang out. Go there when it's low tide when the rocks are showing, I'm sure it'll be great on a photo. I have yet to find a good location to get both bridges nicely framed. No matter where I seem to stand in between the 2 bridges, it doesn't seem to cut it.

Here's one of mine of Hell's Gate with the Triboro right under.

I'm pretty much with Alex all the way on these.

I too like the red thing. It is just bright enough without taking over the image. I like the day to night feel of the sky. I don't like the pier to the left, by touching the waterline in the background it is breaking down the overall definition - I'd think raising the camera about 1 foot would have created the necessary separation.

I don't think the monochrome version gains anything.

Bendy bridge - interesting, but the crops at either side seem too tight - I'd be happier if the left stanchion plus a bit more were in shot to the left, and if the other bridge wasn't running straight into the frame.

First graffiti pic is fine, suits the wide format.

I got you but that's what you get during sunset......an imbalance of light.

Nice angle and composition
Here's mine from that same day as the pano:

Thanks Alex.

Yes, I selectively brightend the sky in the B&W version but not in the color version because when I did, the sky introduced noise into itself so I couldn't make it any brighter. Either I am PPing it the wrong way or just gave up.

You are correct about the pano. It is leaning 0.19 degrees to the right. Thanks!

As for the graffiti photo, that's cool. Not many are fans of it. Believe it or not, Im not a fan of graffiti either but I do like photographing the colors.
