Critique, please....

Hi Linda,

Not too much to complain about on this one unless you want me to start splitting hairs. ;-) Very nice pan of this action and I like the use of sepia. Also, great comp idea.

If I were to split hairs, I think a more abstract crop would be interesting. Either that or the other extreme and more of the surroundings to offer a sense of place. As it is, I might tire of looking at it. Do you know what I mean? Some shots you keep coming back to over and over, while others you look at a few times and admire them, but then forget about them. (oh, and some you never look at twice)

Again, THIS IS SPLITTING HAIRS! I really enjoyed this shot, and haven't been replying to much lately, but this caught my eye. I tend to critique the good photos harsher than I do the "snapshots".

And also NEVER forget - I'm a whacko, so what do I know? ;-)

Hi Jim,

It's great to hear from you! Thanks for the insights; you always have a new "angle" for me to think about. I'll be pondering your suggestions for future comps. :-) I also appreciate the backhanded compliment. ;-)
