How awful! It really brings to mind how precious life is. We're glad you're okay. I agree with knolan - a few days out with your camera shooting those gorgeous photos might offer a bit of a calming effect. Take care!

Glad to hear you're okay. Don't hesitate to talk it over with someone. This is the sort of situation that may cause long-term trauma.

the first thng I want to do is send my thoughts out to a loss loved one in this terrible tradgety. I know it is something you don't expect, sitting there eating lunch and then a truck comes crashing through a the restaurant, unfortunately one person was in the wrong place and time. I know you are stilling feeling the shock of all this and I hope you start to recover soon. I know physically you are okay but it will take time to mentally overcome this horrific accident. I have had things happen that sometimes I get drawn to those incidents and then I have try and block them out. I know you have your family for support.

Glad to hear you are alright, Morris.
My condolences to Mrs Leungs family.

I am so glad you are OK! And my heart goes out to that womans family.

I think I will hug my husband and son a little tighter tonight.

Morris:

I'm glad you are okay and my thoughts go out to the Leungs. Incidents such as this change our perspective on life forever and make us appreciate what we take for granted. Time with loved ones and engaging in photography as a tool for meditation and reflection will certainly help.

Morris, I'm glad you're OK. Must have been quite an experience! I'm sorry about the poor lady. I wish you and your family no more adventures like this.
Regards Alex

The first thought that cames to mind after reading your post is that is amazing how being in the wrong or right place can make a difference. I feel terrible for the poor women and her family. I am glad that you were in the right place.

Be well.

I'm so happy you weren't hurt, although I'm sorry that others were. I hope that, with time, you will be able to forget the pain of the images you saw.

Glad you came out of this horrible event intact and OK. You surely know now there are lots of people here who wish you well and are glad you came thru this OK.
