I don't think there is anyone on these forums better at shooting Bug Macros with a Compact / Bridge Digicam than fttsniper.. That blows my attempts into the weeds with the 6500 but you wanna see some of his Really impressive stuff

I used to take photos with manual camera when I was 7 y.o. but now I'm 18 y.o. and cameras're very very user-friendly and sophisticated even Fuji s6500 :)

I don't need DSLR becouse the lenses're too expensive but I think if new Fuji s100pro'll be good enough ... I'll buy it ;)

ok. just 3 dragonflies ( pics aren't top quality but I think they're interestling :)

here U can see spider's legs inside dried flower ( photo taken before the dragonfly take off )

this dragonfly was very hungry so ... it ate it's "child"

Q; 'Hey Fish, is that photo unretouched' ???

A; 'Are you freaking kidding me ? I used every function in Photoshop on it ! That was a horrible photo ! It was so OE and OOF, it looked like a big snowball ! In fact, I'm a downright lousy photographer.....
But on the other hand, am I a master of PS, or what ? :-)

--Hey Fttsniper,

Fantastic shots, looks so natural sharp and the colours are wonderful. You are an artist.
I agree with you and I don't think Fuji will lett us down.
I can already hear the DSLR infiltrants on this forum moaning.

Regards,

Guus

That's not from an F30 or S6500 etc - it's an S5-Pro shot !! .. That's Cheating , I have similar ones from a far more humble camera, the Nikon D40 but that's even more cheating as it's even better at high ISOs - LOL ..
Lovely Shot Packy and it WAS with a Fuji - Bit cheeky though ;-)

Good spot Adam! And I never claimed it came from any other type of camera in my post. But it's not that hard to spot on the first and second shots. No p&s would be that clean at ISO800 on the first shot and allow you to handhold at 1/3s with that sharpness at the same time. And no p&s would give you that dynamic range in the second cathedral shot to hold the windows while retaining all the shadow detail.

And yes it was cheeky. The heading said post your best Fuji shots 2007. It didn't say from what "type" of camera which is why I posted.

And for those who might not take a bit of humour and want to be technically correct and inform me that this is a Fuji Talk non-dslr forum...... the heading on the way in says "welcome to Fuji Talk Forum a place for discussing Fuji Finepix Digital cameras.....and theses all came from a Fuji Finepix digital camera. :-)

Yeah, I know that's why I was having a bit of Fun, Like posting shots from an SLRn on the Kodak P&S Forum ;-) ..
Forum a place for discussing Fuji Finepix Digital cameras....
and the S5 IS a "Finepix" camera even if Fuji had FINALLY the sense NOT to advertise the fact on the pentaprism ;-) ..
