NX 1.3.1 not opening D300 NEF files in Leopard

Go to last post
Uninstall, clean all nikon directories, and reinstall again 1.3.0 and patch it with 1.3.1.

I had same issue, but now resolved through this.

Did the same last night, works 100% now

My copy works fine now after reinstallation.

I tried to install Nikon Transfer and the installer crashes. Has anyone using Leopard gotten it to work?

Good luck I had issue last night with Vista. An everyone helped me out.

I thought MS was the only buggy software... LOL

Nikon even made a patch for it and it works now ...

Yves - Just to be certain,

Are you saying you can use Capture NX 1.3.1 with Leopard and are able to open and edit D300 RAW files?

I've got 1.3.1 all installed, but I get a 'Cannot load file...' message whenever I open a D300 NEF. D200 NEFs work fine.

So 4 weeks later, I STILL cannot edit my D300 NEFs!

As an aside, I was able to install VIEW NX today (to my surprise!)
 
Same problem here.

I did the uninstall and cleaning of Nikon things but still not working. I think the Hotfix was even worse, because I was able to work with 1.3 in Leopard.

On my MacBook Pro, I can open files but I see crazy sentences on the menu for "Base adjustments".
On my iMac just crash.

Can't find it on the NikonUSA web site (or am I not looking hard enough?)
 
I'll reply to this one to confirm that NX CAN open NEF files under Leopard, worked for me straight from installation with no issues whatsoever.

I had the same problem on my mac/leopard system. but then, I followed what one forum member suggested, and the problem was solved.

1. clear all the previous NX downloads and directories.

2. Install NX 3.0 and restart computer

3. Install NX 3.0.1 patch and restart computer

this way, the two downloads dont clash (in simple language)
