Pictures of a rainy day...your opinion please :-)

hi Alfred,

nice to see you back in this forum!

I think that cropping the image would make it more attractive to the viewers eye ... anyway, nice picture !

kindest regards,
Fred M.

Thanks for the link Fred.. They used to say if all MXGp races were run in the mud Kini would have been world champ for 20 yrs..
hi mxcat,

I've never been to Mattighofen ... but I know
Heinz Kinigadner and KTM.
BTW, cool bike!

have you checked out http://www.kini.at ?

best regards,
Fred M.

I wish the left front edge of the big leaf were in sharper focus. This is such a hard subject. I've been trying and trying to cathch the same thing again and again... Depth of field is a real problem with the handheld 707. I love the drops and the crystaline feeling they have in your image. Cropping is also hard because it's hard to get rid of what you don't want while keeping what you do.

Here are a couple of my attempts:

What do you think of this macro?

Hy mxcat, sure have been to Mattighofen and I know (although not personally) Heinz Kinnigartner, very interesting person (quite crazy some might because of his motorcycling).

Did you like it in Austria?

Regards

Alfred
Either of you ever been to Mattegoffen Austria?
The poster in the background with the shell logo is Heinz

I've never been to Austria.. I worked for a KTM dealer in the 70s and then raced them from 83-96.. I wouldn't ride anything else. I kept up with Heinz Kinigadner from when he was 250 world champ in 84-85, I had the 86 bike that was based on what he won the 85 series on.

I always wanted to go to Austria and visit the factory is why I asked. I may yet.
Regards again
