I don't know if you are tired of talk about the D3/D300 release... well obviously not... but I can't for some real full size image samples. I can't believe that we didn't get one single image full size sample yet.

I was so mad about that, I had to go out and get some panos!!

D2X at work... CC appreciated

Very Nice.

Is it me or I see some vertical banding (kind of caused by different luminosity levels) in the first one and slightly in the left part of the second one?

Also, the bridge of the second last one need a bit of realignment.

Other than that, very nice. And thank you for sharing!

Been enjoying your panos. I was in Brooklyn Heights visiting a cousin last week. Seems you were not that far away. I also went to Amagansett, another cousin has a beach house. Did a pano there but have not stitched it together yet. Got home and back to the grind.

Keep the panos coming. Are you shooting in manual, and do you process all images before stitching? What program are you using?

thanks

Your idea of full-size is different than the rest of us!

Nice job. Particularly like the "Brooklyn Works" one.

We fly in on September 11 and stay for four nights before heading down for some sun'n'sand in Point Pleasant, NJ - This will be our 8th trip to NYC in a seven year period!

Sidenote: I'm hoping to get an assignment or two from the WireImage NYC desk whilst in town.. then I can write off at least part of the trip as a business expense :)

Very nice ones, the last two are my favourites!

The first one with the banding ... could it be, that the clouds where moving too fast for the stitching algorithm to avoid seams?

Nevertheless a little critique ..... I have the feeling, that with panos most people tend to crop less then they would normally e.g. the people on the right of one of those shots.... or to emphazise the bridge, but that's taste;

I wonder if people realise that creating a pano is also a good way to have more room for cropping and also allows for motifs with much larger detail level (because you don't have to go away to fit it in the frame).

yes, I noticed that too and was wondering why that happened. I see it on the originals. This is the first time I am using iso100... I typo'd the stats on the picture wrong, it's supposed to be iso100.

Perhaps due to the dark skies, I ended up with noise and banding?
Also, the bridge of the second last one need a bit of realignment.
Thanks for that... I'll have to take care of that.

Thank you Nicola!!

Thank you Harris... Nice.. I hope you enjoyed your trip... These panos were taken from Brooklyn Heights. I used to live on Hicks Street. Love the neighborhood.

Yes, I shoot completely in manual. I process after stitching.
What program are you using?
I use PTgui exclusively for stitching and export in blended layers PSD format. Then use CS2/3 for final processing and fixing stitching.
