A few shots I have done recently ... (LARGE)

Camera is only the tool ...

Would be harder with a very el cheapo P&S but doable with any SLR ...
Of course not. It's the person behind it. I bet you can do the same
with a Canon, Pentax, Sony ...

And thanks for sharing them here instead of somewhere because this is
where I hang out.

they are good, but I got bored after seeing 8 huge shots.

Either get some ftp space and use a program to make a gallery, or just put them into a website that serves as a gallery, or POST SMALLER PICTURES!

They were good, but it was annoying to view huge files like that in the kind of numbers you posted.

Delightful, as always Yves!

I’m back from ‘le tour de la Gaspésie’ and I’ll post a few in a day or two…

My best regards,

Michel

I think removing it would have been a mistake. Its presence adds a lot to the photo. It just conjured up memories of having been frustrated by a scene where if a certain element could be moved, it would allow for a composition that would be "just right".

Take care Yves,
Mike
I did leave it there (didn'T clone it) because of the color and the
factual distance on the shot. To give it a sense of size and
different persêctive ... I dunno if I succeded here ... :-)

Thx for looking ...
Long time no speak... :-)

First of all, I really like the balance of this shot. But if I were
taking it, I would have been frustrated by the barn on the right. I
would have wanted to include more of the barn (move it left in the
frame so I could see at least the front of it) but it seems looking
at it, that to do so (by moving back, changing focal length or
changing angle) would have destroyed the balance and structure of the
image.

Just curious if you felt this way or if the barn was "just where you
liked it"?

....and all with that "crappy sensor" used in the Nikon! I have a D200 and D70s...and they deliver for me as well! Nice work!

Can't wait to see those images of yours ... I am sure they are terrific.

Are you kidding?

Bigger is not boring, and Yves has earned the right to post what he wants. He helps everyone here.

If you read carefully, the title says LARGE, that was a hint ...

Sorry if you find the size boring ...

Nah ... they are not that huge, the largest image is lik 170kb file.

I say use a faster web provider.
