Hi James
I notice you come from Wiltshire - this is, of course, inexcusable
I also notice that you travel a lot - this is, of course, inexcusable
I also notice that you have recently started photography - this, of course, makes you a suitable victim.
So
here goes:
1. Buddha
Ohmigod - well you've stuck the buddha to the right hand side, looking out of the picture - this unbalances the picture - you'd usually have it pointing inwards. In my opinion it adds a bit of tension, which makes the picture much more interesting. Great - I like it - the lighting is pretty good as well.
2. B'urg al Arab
Is this in Dubai? what a whacky building - and the colours are wonderful (is this the 707 super saturation?). Very dramatic - I like it.
3.My Dream
Nice composition, and you must have been pleased to catch it, but I'm not sure that this one really makes it (IMHO).
4. Infrared Bhudda
Might have been better if you'd got the knees in? but at least you've been exactly consistent. The leaves at the front might have been distracting, but they're a good shape and sharp. Maybe it's slightly unbalanced at the right hand side, but it's pretty good.
5. Flower
This one is really dramatic - great, I love it - you've got the focus right at the point it matters too.
6. Hooked
I love this - the black and white is great - the composition is great - perfect focus point - really good.
7. Post Box
I'm not so sure about this - nice idea, but I'm not sure that the black and white bit quite holds it's own
8. Life Guard
Now - this wasn't taken in Wiltshire

I like it - there's something jolly and humerous about it (not sure what).
9. Dubai
Ah - it is dubai

not as dramatic as the other one - but still fine
10. Dubai again - club
good one - how did you do this? I think it's pretty good.
There - I've done 'em all!
If you've really only just taken up photography I think you're doing a grand job - they're all fine, but the hooked and the flower are really grand.
No more excuses (for me) I really must do some work!
kind regards

7.
Hi all,
I have just managed to up load some pictures to pbase, and was
wondering if you guy's could give me some feed back!
I'm still quite new to this media so don't be too kind, as if i'm
going to learn i might as well jump in the deep end and not get
into too many bad habbits. the pictures are all taken since
December when i got my first digital camera a Sony 707, but i never
felt in kin with it, as i do my E-20. I've had this camera for
about a month now and love it, were learning together.
The pictures are from all over the place and i'll add more
depending the ribbing i get from you lot.
Regards, James.
