Hey Dee,Hi David,
Very nice lighting on the little flower! What lens are you using?
Good job!
It's very good David, impressive with just the 707 and no add on lenses

ThanksAnd a very lovely little flower it is! Great job, esp. with the
depth of field and exposure (...for being sooooo close to it, wow!)
Well done!Nee
I notice a slight bluish haze which is normal in shadow light. I wonder if setting the white balance differently would tend to remove it. I experimented in Photoshop and was able to brighten the whites by going to levels and getting the white eyedropper then clicking on the whitest part of the flower. I would show it to you but I don't know how to embed the picture in this message. If you would like to see it e-mail me at: [email protected]
Rod, thanks for your feedback. I did already modify the white balance (became a bit more magenta) and contrast and was pleased with the results. I can go back at it and see about a bluish haze, although I;m not sure I see one. But I know that usually I see the problems on my pictures after they are corrected! Here is the bee in question. Not a very good photo or macro but what can you do with no addon lens, crouching on the ground, camera at the tip of your extended arms, and too much light to see what's on the LCD screen?ThanksAnd a very lovely little flower it is! Great job, esp. with the

I tried the same with a bee but she didn't like having the camera
an inch above her and she kinda warned me by bumping into my finger
before going back to her work. Since I couldn't put my eye on the
camera to frame and focus it turned out pretty bad.
That's when you're suppose to get closeup/macro lenses I guess![]()
