C&C [FLOWERS] D50+Sigma 105mm f/2.8 (10)

The first is my favorite but you use DOF beautifully on all of them.

How do you like that Sigma lens? It looks to be doing very well for you.

Cheers,

JAson

Took you up on your "challenge" ;)
That's good for you, there's some much to be learned from the people there. I think you get the best critique you can imagine. There are some amazingly good photographers that are luckily not snobby at all and very willing to give good critique. And it's good not only for posting your own images, but also to just have a look through those posted by others.
Thanks for that link, looks like a fine site too Basil.
It's the finest site I've come across so far. :)

The lens is just fine, thank you for asking - if only I can only get results from it now ugh

Hi Kevin

The DOF of Pestol Passion seems short to me. Is there any way of improving this, I'm still new the Dslr. I would also like to buy a macro lens, but with more DOP.

regards Mark

Hello Mark
DOF here was intentional, the aperture was set @ f/4.5.

You can stop down to f/16 and move further away from your subject eg to gain more DOF.

Hope that helps.
