Here's some pictures I recently took in Britanny (Bretagne), France. Did nothing fancy with Photoshop; just played a bit with sharpening (unsharp mask), brightness, and contrast.

What do you think? Any suggestions?

Thanks! Pascal

Thanks all for your reactions! Britanny is definitely the place to be for photography: the light is amazing, especially in winter.

Thanks! All shot with a Nikon D70s.

the Baie de Trepasses (Pointe du Raz), Ploumanac'h, Ouessant perhaps...? :)

Just happen to see my most favorite places of all times...I get goosebumps when ever I see photos of this beautiful region... We visit it around 3-4 times a year and it's a part of our lives. Hope you enjoyed your stay!

Pascal, not to be critical but it appears (to me) that most of the images are somewhat dark and "gloomy" if there is such a word.
Perhaps because it must have been rather overcast and subdued light.

Vernon...

You're close... It's Pointe de Penhir, Paimpol, Côte du Granit Rose. Awsome places indeed!

Thanks for the critique! I was kind of expecting this. Well, the wheather was a bit gloomy to start with. I darkened the first three pics a bit to get a more dramatic sky. You think it's overdone?

For the rest the light was just fascinating. #7 and #8 look like they were shot in B&W, but that was just the cloud-filtered sunlight and the backlight of course. Actually, the sky had a strange yellowish glow. I will play some more with these shots to get an optimal result.

Thanks again! Pascal

Yup, #'s 4 and 6 do it for me too!
