Support for AVI-format movies has been added.

Compatibility with Windows Vista (32-bit version) was added.

UTC (GPS) information is now displayed in the Information palette’s Shooting Data display for photos taken by the D2X, D2XS, D2HS, or D200 with a GPS device connected.

Auto was displayed for the Digital Vari-Program item in the Information palette's Shooting Data display for photos taken with the D40 in Auto (flash off) Digital Vari-Program mode. That issue has been resolved so that Auto (flash off) is now displayed.

Camera Control Pro now starts when the Camera Control button is clicked with a Nikon digital-SLR camera connected to the computer with both Camera Control Pro and COOLPIX Remote Control installed.

Support for RAW images captured with the D40 was added.

Support for the PTP connection of the COOLPIX S7c was added.

Support for the COOLPIX S7 wireless transfer was added.

When photos taken with the D50, D70, D70S, or D80 (in auto shooting mode with the flash up but disabled) were viewed, the information shown for Flash Sync Mode and Auto Flash Mode in the Information Palette’s Shooting Data display was incorrect. This issue has been resolved.

Support for the COOLPIX S7 and COOLPIX S8 Pictmotion feature that allows up to 5 music tracks (up to 3 minutes per track) saved to the computer (.mp3, .m4a, .wma, .wav formats) to be saved to an SD memory card inserted in the camera has been added.

Download PP175WinEN.zip to your computer, decompress the file (Unzip), and run the file.

Turn off all virus-scanning software and exit any applications that may be running before running this software.

Your computer must be restarted after running this software.

You must have Administrator authority when installing this software under Windows 2000, Windows XP, or Windows Vista.

The Nikon NEF Plug-in is installed with installation of PictureProject. This allows RAW-format pictures taken with Nikon digital cameras to be opened in 8-bit format in Adobe Photoshop 6.0 and later.
*
Please be aware of the following when using PictureProject in combination with Nikon Capture or Capture NX.
*
An error occurs when RAW images edited with PictureProject are opened in Nikon Capture 3 Ver. 3.5.2 or earlier, or Nikon Capture 4 Ver. 4.0. Update Nikon Capture 3 to Ver. 3.5.3 or Nikon Capture 4 to Ver. 4.1 or later.

When the Straighten or D-Lighting HS functions in PictureProject Ver. 1.1 (or later) Edit mode are applied to photos, the effects of these enhancements will not be reflected when the pictures are opened in Nikon Capture 4 Ver. 4.1.3 or earlier. Update Nikon Capture 4 to Ver. 4.2 or later.

Photos saved in NEF format with Capture NX cannot be edited with PictureProject 1.7.4 or later.
*
To take advantage of all PictureProject features, QuickTime version 7 or later must be installed on your computer. QuickTime can be downloaded from the Apple Computer web site.
*
To take advantage of the PictureProject Pictmotion feature, Microsoft DirectX 9 or later must be installed on your computer. DirectX 9 can be downloaded from the Microsoft Corporation web site.
*
However, installation is not necessary under Windows Vista.
