The dolts at ecost may try to tell you the camera has to be bought there but it doesn't...as long as the warranty extension is purchased within the 1st year prior to the original warranty expiration then you can get the warranty from any vendor..

Just tell them to put it through cause it's not stated in any description of the Oly Gold plan that the plan has to be bought with any specific requirements...Such as purchasing the camera from them....

This is the one for the c2100....C2000 is the series number that covers any oly c2000 ie: c2040 c2100 Etc. If you can still check acceptable accessories at the Oly website , this will be the plan included in the uzi's accessory list...

Hi - could you tell me where on their site is the oly warranty? all I could find it was their Service Net warranties.

American Express Blue told me if you purchase an extended warranty then it voids their extra coverage that they provide. I found this out when I bought my mini DV camcorder with price matching.
