What is Your favorite lens you buy in 2006

My favorite purchase was the DA40 Limited. That is one fine lens and I use it a lot. I find the focal length perfect for portraits and some landscape. It's a great all-around lens and makes such a light and small package.

I only purchased two lenses in 2006, the FA*28-70 f2.8 and the FA*300 f4.5.

Which is my favourite? Hard to say, but I think I will lean towards the FA*28-70 f2.8 only because it is a little more useful.

Probably the 31/1.8 Ltd...a magic studio lens and lovely for natural light , outdoor portraits...gets a good workout at weddings too, particularly given that it's an SR lens with the K10d.

Cheers

DA 10-17mm f3.5-4.5.

None on Pentax's other offerings I find particularly tempting.

Didn't buy any lenses, did I? LBA - not me!

Well there was the FA*300f4.5 which is a strong favourite.

And the Zenitar 16mm fisheye which gives a whole new perspective.

Of course the A50f1.2 has a look all of its own.

I did buy one other rather unusual Pentax lens but that is going for repair shortly. It will be an LBA post when I get it back.

Yes another thread about 2006,i just want to know which lens you
purchase in 2006 that is your favorite or think that changed your
photography the most.
Well, my favourite has to be the FA35/2, it's almost always on my K10.

None of my lenses has really changed my photography - that started going in a new direction after I read Strobist and got myself an old Nikon SB24 for off-camera use (connected with a PC sync cord).

the most usable is the 50-200....but the one is drooling me (but my PC is dead so no photoshop for going to BW now...and no RAWer....) is the 135 SMC M3.5...i love it only with the view throught the viewfinder...

Well, like many other Pentax converts, the K10d forced the purchased of the following:
Sig 17-70 macro
DA 50-200
Pent 50 FA 1.4
Pent 50 A F1.7
Pent 50 M F2
Pent 35/135 M F3.5
Pent 35-105 macro SMC F-f4 - 5.6
Pent F1.7 Adapter Teleconverter
Tokina ATX 400 F 5.6
Tokina SD 70-210 F4-5.6
Tamron AF 1.4X Teleconverter

My favorites, so far, are the 50 Fa 1.4, the Sigma 17-70, and the Tokina 400, but finding and getting the Pentax F1.7 adapter was a thrill.
Hopfully, 2007 will add a Katz eye and flash (+:
