Rubbery....

http://forums.dpreview.com/forums/read.asp?forum=1026&message=20417766

The topic came up a few weeks ago. In addition, I recomment contact cement used for counter tops. You apply it to both the rubber and body. When the two dry [apart] the glue will be only tacky to the touch. But, as soon as the two meet, it will bond instantly! It works well, but you need to get it right the first time.

We all know what it can't do. Show me what you can do with it.

I had the same problem and contacted Kodak here in the US. Here is their response:

Hello Weldon,

Thank you for contacting Kodak Professional.

The parts alone are $75 for the grips and $45 for adhesive. That
doesn't
include the labor charge either. If you still would like us to fix it
just call
1-800-235-6325, ext 86 to set that up.

My 14nx rubber covering is working very loose. Is there a good DIY
solution (UK)?
I can't answer your question on the nx oh Quentin. But apparently you can get thin double sided tape for the Oly E1, who's grip also gives up the ghost after a while (and its cheap). However this seems to happen because it swells. Is your's swollen ? And what about the grip ?

I went to a Chinese restaurant the other day. The Chicken chow mein wasn't very nice. I said to the waiter
'Waiter.. this chickens rubbery!'
to which he replied
'ho... fank you velly much'

The old ones are the best ....

I was in an English restaurant the other day - the guy on the next table said the the waiter:

"I'd like the steak and kiddleye pie please"

the waiter said

"do you mean the steak and kidney pie sir?"

"That's what I said, diddle I"

I used a hot glue gun with mine - worked a treat but you need to be careful as it is easy to mess-up!
