Dog-Tired

He had to much fun, time to rest.

OK Duane, cute doggy now lets see you fix those glass eyes on the poor pooch in the third pic. It's time to load the Photo Deluxe 4 that came with the Uzi. It's real easy once you pick it up, Post me in the morn if you don't know how. This pic is a good one to practice with. 75% of the time I get this with my dog and even more with a D-40 as flash is so close to lens but I can fix it in 2 min now without pulling what little hair I have left out of my head trying to learn how to retouch eyes. I can even put zits on the pics of relatives I don't like. . . cool!

Any suggestions on how to remove 'green eye' from animal eyes?
Best way to avoid them is to use external flash.

The next picture was taken with Uzi's internal flash, but I held a pocket mirror in front of the flash and bounced the light via the white closets on the left side. Straight from the camera except resized.

If you use a bouncer with internal flash, you need to use the flash in full power (+2.0) and it still won't reach very far, but very good when shooting close-up portraits and macros.

Great way to improvise Niko! I just love this kind of experimentation. Sure it has its limitations but it works .
Thanks, JD
