Hi there,

Below is one of the last shots I took with my Fujifilm S9500 before upgrading to what is in my signature. It was taken in Nice, France and I recently submitted it for consideration into the Digital Camera Magazine (UK) Hotshots category.

I like the shot very much and I was overjoyed at having my first published image. For anyone who is interested, it is in page 87 of November's issue of Digital Camera Magazine, released on Tuesday 24/10/06.

Excellent composition, shadow and highlights.

I will be buying the DCM on Saturday and have a look at their comments.

Thank you for your kind comments. The issue that this image will be in will be on the shelves from Tuesday though. Saturday will still be the Autumn issue and my image is in the November issue.

of making the mundane interesting. This is a shot that many would have passed up as "boring."

Nice shot, and well deserved that it's getting published.

What a coincidence. I was flicking through my DCM and stopped when I came to this photo. I loved the angle, the contrast and the subjecct matter. Well done. It is truly a great photo and deserved of a place in the magazine. Can;t wait to see more of yours.
