Here are a couple of shots my taken by my wife as I got the lights set for her for her model session this past week. The ones with the legs sticking out was for a contest of stocking that she thought of trying so, she could enter. We really had fun on these and I think she is getting use to holding the 1D Mark II for a long time now. Also, like to thank pixelsurgeon for sending me the curves and his great sharpener.

Thanks for looking,
Dooglla

We too have many of these backgrounds. I find that a little more gaus blur or selective viongette will halp make the BG look a little less fake. In a couple of the shots it really stands out. Another option would be a little less DOF via longer focal lenth during the shoot.

I know

Great work though!

Some portrait photographers often avoid having knees and elbows facing the camera and I think it especially takes away from the last shot.

Nice lighting, composition and idea :)

'We don't take pictures with our cameras,' Newman once said. 'We take them with our hearts and we take them with our minds, and the camera is nothing more than a tool.'

Thanks everyone for the nice comments so far. No, EOSman that is not my wife...my wife took the shots. :) hahahahaha She is the one behind the camera...I'm on the side somewhere. They won't let me shoot anymore. :( Just kidding about not letting me shoot part.

I was just goofing with you.

I still would mind having the looker around. Hot girl.

The curves that I was talking about are for the 1D Mark II jpeg...to get rid of the cast problems. And the sharpener is the one he has for sale. Do a search of his name and email him about his sharpener. Or maybe he may read this and answer you.

Thanks, will do.
