These are the photos in my show

Hey, I recognize a lot of those, LOL. Very nice images, John. I've sort of been out of touch what with moving back to the States, so what show??

My fingers fail to be able to express their admiration for them.

Hope sale's were as good as the photography.

I used my H5 to get Alan to admit me to the Duck Club. 1758 in my possession also.

I love the shot of the tea house with the building in the background. I can't believe you didn't enter that in the exhibition gallery of the challenge. I thought your photo in the challenge looked a little underexposed but the exposure in your show picture is much better and the lit up building balances perfectly esposure and color wise. I really like your lotus shots too, they are very well exposed and composed. I wanted so badly to get some good lotus pictures when I was in Bali but unfortunately the light was always too harsh when I was around lotus ponds. Yours make me jealous, especially number 11. It looks like its lit up from the inside, and you can feel the delicate texture of the petals with your eyes. Good show.

Nice set, John. I recognize most of them from your previous posts.

Your night shots are very unique , they have this golden glow in them, sometimes the water seems on fire. Great stuff.
Where is the one you entered for a challenge last year?

I spent a lot of money and made a tiny amount. Were you able to make a good living as a photographer. You are very talented. Is it a good business?

I've entered that one in a couple of challenges already, so I'm sure people are getting tired of seeing it. I did underexpose these shots, because I think the colours are a little nicer. Thanks very much for your kind comments.

I'm showing my photos in an exhibition at a local English School. Exhibition is a little more formal way to say it.

When I first mentioned doing photography, the owner of the photo shop where I was buyiing equipment took me aside and asked "Marion, what is a successful photographer.". I replied "A person who can take really good photographs.". His answer "A successful photographer is a business man who can take adequate photographs.".

I never became a successful business man. It was too much an art form for me. For every roll of film I used for work I probably used ten for self.

It was the pleasure not the money for me. I have never been happier then those years I was shooting. Even though I ate dry cereal with powderd milk on it, slep on a futon on the studio floor and bathed in the darkroom sink.

I would go back in a second if I could.
