Please Post Your Best EF 24-105 f4.0 Shots......

Great lens by the way, and IS is the reason quite of few of my shots even exist as I don't carry a tripod most of the time. I've only had it a few months but it's my primary lens now.

Best shots. Neither of these shots have been touched except to resize for posting here. I couldn't think of any way I could have improved them.

Like it because I can take it easily in my backpack when I go mountainbiking (or skiing as above) and it covers the range I use most for these activities. Also, I get enough good shots that I have no need to spend time trying to process half good shots into something more usable.

First post and all (Hi Hi!), had to jump in and say that I love this lens.

Some flowers that were for sale:

last one, 14th street/union sq. This one is wide open at 1/10th of a second.

All are pretty much straight from the camera, just resized.

Don't have any examples on me right now, but I do love this lens. Was also weighing my cons and pros and finally bit the bullet. Right now it's one of my most utilized lens, very applicable in many situations, very fast AF,very sharp even wide open, IS works great, build quality is L standard, no objections whatsoever. Some of my best photos I owe to this lens and it's capability and color rendering. When and if I go FF it will be even better than 1,6 FOVC

You'll love that lens. It's a great balanced combo together with the 1DM2 (and most likely also with the 5D, 30D/20D) and it's very versatile while also very sharp. If the distortion at the wide end would be less the lens would be perfect (but then again we do have Photoshop--so why not use it).

Av mode, 1/50sec, f/4, iso250, 105mm

Av mode, 30sec, f/4,5, iso800, 24mm

I like this lens as well. This is my first photo upload on these forums - let's hope everything goes well...

Couple of weeks ago I did some casual shooting at Manly Beach - Sydney:
