Hello friends,
I had a good sleep tonight, just to discover in the morning that I lost all the drama that went here.
I would like to thank all those who participated in the challenge, and for those who voted. Also, my best congratulations for the winners in each of the categories.
Challenge #6 was a great success, and thank you, way, for running it up to the very last moment!
Now, after the waves of excitement have settled down, let me announce the topic of the next challenge:
! PEOPLE AT WORK !
It can be the barber in his shop, the baker next to his product, the blacksmith next to his fire or anvil, the carpenter...; any worker! This is a great opportunity to practice the indoors abilities of our cameras, as well as broad daylight potential.
I'm going to open a new gallery in a moment (if pbase is working).
About the rules: Photos will be sent in anonymously , carrying a 'secret' sender's name, for purposes of identification. Senders might be asked, after publishing the winner names, to supply the original photo of their entry.
The voting will be, though, by real names (or by 'official' user name).
Remark: I purposly did not make the rules bullet-proof (e.g., voting anonymously), as this is, I feel, against the openness and the spirit of the whole challenges.
About the other rules (mainly - last date for submitting the entry, this might be a little tricky) - those will follow.
So load you batteries, take your cameras, and ... good luck to all of you.
