Here is a portrait from another thread- straight from my D2Hs except for resize- auto all- well exif in the pic...
Skin tones look good to me...
I dont have a d200 but I have a D100 and a D2H also and the colors from my D2Hs are great. -p

70-200 AFS VR F2.8,AF 60 Micro F2.8, AF 28-75 XR DI F2.8
D2Hs is really excellent for ST,
D2H, on the other hand, it needs a little tweaking but still will accomodate well for that matter. Out of the box though, D2Hs is better than D2H and equal IMO to the D200.

Yep, 300AFSI @ 2.8. It does'nt spend much time at any other aperture. -p
