Very fine pictures. Great art too. I particularly like the green pond, the river shot and Saturn, though my initial impression was a rather nice hat (for someone else).

Excellent contrast. I've been wondering if I could justify the 17-55 and now I think I can.

Hi Sander

I hope you're well, thanks for looking - Bier lane is just around the corner from us, heading to Red Grave (Redgrave)! When the dog looks jumpy, then that's where I go. The pond is great (I even swim in it sometimes when it's full in the spring).

Kind Regards
Jono
Hi Jono,

that Bier Lane shot is wondeful, I always enjoy your pond and
reflection shots.

Cheers,

LOL - great had (a bit sticky though!).

Each month I go through my best shots, and 90% of them seem to be with that lens, my copy is wonderfully sharp and reliable (second try though, the first one was awful).

Hi Bart
LOL - takes you back doesn't it!

That shot was taken from a train window going at over 100mph - tracking on that 70-200 is pretty efficient!

Excellent pictures. I have just checked out your website what lenses do you use mostly for your landscape pictures? The skies are absolutely beautiful.

. . . sounds like a Midsomer Murders episode title.

That second image is delightful and had me going for a bit, but I'm used to going around right side up!

Anyhow, great stuff as usual.

Thank you!

Mostly I use the 17-55 and the sigma 10-20, our skies are the consolation prize for having no hills!

Hi Roger
Very nicely observed (but you might want to check your crop on the
rosehips, a02.html).
Thanks for that - I'll get it sorted!
Never been a big fan of inverted reflections
myself, but there y'go.
LOL - looks funny the other way up though.

LOL - doesn't it just, do you get that splendid rubbish over there too? Actually, come to think of it, it's obviously not designed for the UK!

You should try it the other way up - gives one a whole new vision of the world.
Anyhow, great stuff as usual.
Thank you Mike - hope you're doing well.

Yes, on a delayed basis. So far, only the episodes with Sgt. Troy are showing here. Our cable TV service's practice is to show three episodes in a row on Sunday evenings ("Birds of Prey" is on right now, in fact. Shown first in January 2003 on your side of the water).

There are worse ways to spend six hours if one can't be out photographing.

Well, it's not designed for here, either, since hardly anybody gets shot!

Hope you are also doing well.

You're obviously better up on it than me - I actually think the new guy (whatever he's called) is an improvement.

Six hours of it!? Not sure that I have the staying power!
Hope you are also doing well.
Yes, Good, too busy though.
