Anyone carry three L zooms in one bag?

About to head off for 10 months with

5D
17-40 L
24-105 L
100-400 L
Epson P2000
Canon S70

all in one lowepro trekker rucksac.
I currently have the 28-80L and 80-200L zooms. I am deciding
between the 17-40L zoom and the 20mm 2.8 prime (by the way, here is
a comparison if anyone is interested:
http://www.photo.net/bboard/q-and-a-fetch-msg?msg_id=0055CB ).

If carrying the 17-40L with my existing lenses is ridiculous, than
the 20mm prime becomes more attractive an option.

Does anyone carry around three zooms of this size in one bag? I
was thinking of getting a Lowepro backpack and don't know how easy
or burdensome this would be.

Thanks,

Peter

Whoa, did a double-take when I saw DavidP and knew this was an old thread. 2003, how time flies.

Last winter when we had the Great Gray Owl invasion, I was carrying the 100-400L IS and 400 5.6L fairly regularly and the 70-200L f4 on occasion. You don't move around as much in snow so the extra weight isn't as bad as during hiking months in the Spring to Fall.

Depending on the shoot, I might carry the Sigma 120-300 EX 2.8 (as big and heavy as the 300mm 2.8L), the 100-300 EX 4.0 (bigger than the 70-200L 2.8) and the 70-200 EX 2.8 in my Lowepro Stealth Reporter AW 650. I carry the 100-300EX as a backup.....

I only have a small Micro Trekker 200 and I carry my 400mm F5.6 L and 80-200 F2.8 L in that. plus the Sigma 105, kit lens and 2 teleconverters.

it only depend on the weight you are willing to carry around. many bags can hold what you want. my bag is 17lbs.
Thanks,

Peter
