Fast Battery Charger / Conditioner

I don't know where you live, but here in Antwerp, I found a shop specialised in selling all kinds of batteries and chargers (not for cars) ; that's where i bought my Ansmann charger about a year ago; advantage that you can see the models and ask some questions before buying; anyway, I have to return there to buy some extra 1800 mah batteries for my D7;

maybe there is a similar kind of shop in your area ? To my opinion, camera shops are not the best place to buy good chargers;

Hmmmm, seems pretty logical! I had not noticed that and you seem to
be right. Thanks Henri! That was really helpfull.
By the way, I e-mailed Ansmann in Germany and asked where I could
find the Ansmann chargers in the UK. They gave me contact
information of their Managing Director of ANSMANN UK Limited in
Essex, but they said he is on holiday this week so I'll contact him
next week. If anyone needs any info, let me know.

Henri, I agree that camera shops are not the best places to buy baterries and chargers. But I will add to that.... except if you know what exactly you are after. But you will have to ask for that perticular thing. I guess this is my only option now, but I would like to compare some prices before placing aking for my Ansmann to be ordered.

I am in London and I am sorry but I have absolutely no idea where Anrwerp is. Any help? Could you also please tell me the name of the shop? I found a battery strore in London, but the guy is too bloody expensive and STUPID!!!!

Antwerp is just across the channel in Belgium; I am one of those "continentals"

Pabletto - sorry for the delayed reply - it is a discharge button - if you press it the charger discharges all batteries fully then goes into the charging cycle automatically. I understand this is a standard conditioning function.
