Sigma 70-200 F2.8 EX DG APO

Poulson

Also did you own one of the older none DG versions of the lens, can you notice any differences between the two. Focusing speed or sharpness on the D7D as the newer one is designed for Digitals.
Actually if anyone has any relavent info would be gratefull
Thanks Tripper

No, I only have this one.

And while focussing is snappy, it is definitely not up to what I"ll call 'USM Standards"... But its more than adequate for my uses.

I've never compared it to the DG.

Not really too sure if trevor knows what he is talking about.

Poulson,
have you got any examples of shots taken with your 70-200mm DG
lense, you may be able to post on here. Also is there anything plus
or minus points you have picked up about the lense, e.g. Sharpness
under f4, and do these change at different focal ranges.
Cheers
Tripper

Hi Vance - if you refer to my photos, they are not crops. I have very little time for now and just converted with Rawshooter with default sharpness, then resized for web. -- Poul
