i hike a lot and and have seen every animal i can think of besides a cougar...and there are plenty around.

Everyone with a camera should take a trip to Africa. Worth every cent.

Next time I go I'll try to compose a little better. I have this habit of focusing on the eyes of the animal, then re-composing with the head in the center. This not only messes with balance (eg rule of 1/3 rds), but very often leaves me with a photo of a subject, minus it's feet.
Sorry I just had to get that off my chest.

Was at an alligator farm in Austin and shot this one through a chain link fence. The turtle and the alligator werent moving at all, but the picture tells a different story.



This one isnt to wild yet but give him some time.
