I have the E-1 shoulder bag. It holds multiple lenses, FL-36, batteries, laptop, etc. I'm looking for a Crumpler bag that will allow me to hold my E-1 with 14-54 lens attached and still have room for my FL-36. Basically, I need a smaller case that provides easy access to my E-1. I really like the style of the Crumpler, but open to other suggestions.

Thanks in advance.

Take a look at Tamrac Velocity series. You do not have to take it off your back...just turn it in front of you.

I have Farmer's Double. It is the most comfortable back pack I ever had. I bought this one because it can hold both my notebook computer and camera.

I have one, shoulder bag, cant recall the model, not company embarrasment (that was too big for me) holds E1 with grip and lens, plus big flash, 80-200 2.8, 11-22, 50 1.4, storage drive (Xdrive) and lots of bits and bobs.

Very very pleased, used to use a rucksack all the time, but was a pain for access on the move.

crumpler well made, excellent design.

I have the Tall-E and the Stamp Collector bags. They are the best constructed shoulder bags i have ever owned. The tall e is very deep, with a hidden chamber in the bottom, and is left shoulder only. Can be a little difficult to get in and out of as it is tall and narrow, but extends out off you hip about 8 inches. My stamp collector is a small day bag for a my 8080 or E1 w/14-54. They are weather proof, I took my stamp collector and 8080 on my honeymoon to St. Lucia and took an open top jeep tour of the rain forest. Needless to say, it poured for over 4 hrs, i was soaked, the outside of the bag was drenched, but the interior was dry as a desert. A real testiment to the construction and materials of the bag. These bags are great. The backpacks seemed a little too large for me, so i purchases a lowepro mini trekker aw. hope this helps, take care...

I use a LowePro top loading zoom bag. It gives me room UNDER the camera for a flash. If you are interested, I can give more info. I like it, but if I add 1 more accessory, I will need to get a different bag. I bought a LowePro Point and shoot camera bag and attached it to the side of the larger bag to hold my EX-25.

I have the Crumpler Budgie Smuggler for my E-1 with either the 11-22 or 40-150 mounted. The little FL-20 and an extra battery fit in the accessory pocket. You'd probably need the Tall E for the larger flash.

I use their Next Venue bag as a "system bag". I can have all of my gear in it (including the charger, cables, etc.), plus there's room for that "normal macro" prime whenever Oly finally deigns to release it.

I sell a lot of their computer bags and backpacks in my little independent Apple store. The bags are very well designed and the styling and color combinations result in a product that doesn't look like the average laptop or camera bag.

I understand that they are currently updating the camera bag line. I had a hard time finding a Budgie Smuggler, but I think Adorama still has a few.

Best regards

Lou

I've had Billingham, lowpro - you name it, I've got it.

I think the names are different in the UK, but I have a great bag, holds E1+11-22 and 14-54/50-200/macro/TC and still seems small and light - they're really solid. The 'secret' pocket means you have easy access to lenses on the bottom layer, without having to take everything out at the top.

I have a Crumpler Lollypop. It fits the E-1 with 14-54 zoom attached in the main compartment, and the FL-36 will fit in the front compartment when folded and on its side.

It's all a pretty snug fit (sometimes hard to get the camera in - the fittings for the shoulder strap catch on the bag) and I can't fit much else in (a spare battery/-es for the camera/ flash). I've taken out the middle divider in the main compartmen, but the camera does also fit with the divider in.

Don't you think the shoulder strap is way too big and thick for this little bag? After a while I started hating it. The bag is very nice. I use it for my oly8080 but i think it is a little small for the E1. Just the camera and one lens but not the 50200 mounted.

They did seem too go a bit too far with the strap (it's the same width and thickness as they put on the Next Venue). I don't use the shoulder pad. With the weight of the E-1 and 11-22 in the bag, it's good to have a thick strap - but I agree that it could have been 1/2 to 1 inch thinner.

I could use a smaller bag for just the camera and 40-150 or 11-22 mounted, but I don't like to load the camera into the bag with the lens pointed down. For one thing, the bag would tend to tip over easily when you set it down (high center of gravity).

Yes, you'd need a considerably larger bag to carry an E-1 with the 50-200 mounted.

I haven't been able to locate the Lollipop. Perhaps it's been discontinued. I'm considering the Budgie Smuggler or the Tall-E. Not sure if the Budgie Smuggler would hold my FL-36 along w/ my E-1 and mounted 14-54. The Tall-E looks like it might be a little well... tall. It might be overkill for my E-1, 14-54 and FL-36. I'm surprised there aren't more sites that have photos of how your gear will look and fit in these cases. As mentioned in my post, I already have an Olympus E shoulder case, but it will not fit the E-1 with any type of mounted lens. Anyone using the Tall E?

I ended up ordering one through a vendor on eBay. I bought the Brown/Grey Tallee. My wife hates the color, but I couldn't see putting my E-1 in a wacky green color case - although I thought about it. In terms of the case, it's absolutely perfect. It appears much taller in the photos. It's the perfect size for me. I'm able to fit the E-1 w/ lens attached and the FL-36 in the top. Right now, I'm using the "chamber of secrets" for power supply, batteries, etc. When I add a new lens, I should be able to fit the lens and accessories. Right now, I have ample space to just dump them in. I did remove a few dividers in the top. Bag is very well constructed and appears durable. Highly recommend this case to anyone looking for a stylish alternative to the standard black camera case.

Hello Lingsb. I have Crumpler Stunner, but I am looking to save a few hundred grams in weight. Could you fit E-1 + 14-54 and 40-150 in the bag? all in the main compartment (after removing the dividers)... thanks for your time.

I doubt it. I'm thinking of getting the 40-150 or 50-200, and will almost certainly need a new bag when I do.
