I have seen people upset about new cameras but this seems to be really hot. Nikon users have been SCREAMING at Nikon to introduce more and better cameras. Now that they have, everyone is pi$$ed off.

Does not seem you can win.

I'm still in love with my humble, outdated D-100 and my 25 year-old FM bodies. Nikon owes me nothing, especially after making that wonderful 45mm 2.8p.

With all the talk about how bad the new D2hs will be.....

I really like my D100....my 17-35 2.8 Nikkor...my 80-200 2.8 AFS.....

my 24-85 3.5 / 4.5 AFS....my 50mm 1.8......did I mention I like my D100 ?

Someday I might even buy another camera.

I feel better now......I'll go lie down.

Well i'm currently a Canon user but really a big big fan of Nikon cameras. I'm a firm believer in Nikon ergonomics, metering, flash accuracy and feel.

1. Nikon F2AS - Love em!
2. Nikon F3 - D2H of it's time! Why F3 when the FM2 was way better?
3. Nikon F4 - Sexiest Nikon ever made and bulletproof too!!!
4. Nikon F5 - Boldly went where no camera has gone before!!
5. Nikon F6 - Film version of D2 > Perfect!!!

6. D2H - Perfect ergonomics but if only.....
7. D2X - Perfect ergonomics but not seen the pictures...

Do I get a hug?

I have looked at your web page many times over the last year,(purchased D-100 then) You do incredible work and I really enjoy the results of your photography endeavors. I think it is Pbase where you have several shots, I believe all shot with your past owned D-100. You took some outragous shots with the sigma 15-30 lense,I see you have sold it. Why? Anyway I wanted to let you know you are appreciated in this corner of the world.
