I ordered from Ritz in early October, It was delivered November 22. Dell has best price on the net right now , but since I originally ordered, I have not had a clue as to waiting times until my own unit was shipped. Although I made many inquiries, no one could tell me anything, other than that the orders are sent out in the order they are received!

I ordered mine from 17th St. Photo, NYC on the 23rd, just 6 days ago. I will have in my hot little hands within the next few hours. It's "out for delivery" right now according to FedEx.tracking. First order of business is to clip the UPC code and mail it and a copy of my receipt to KM Grand Rapids, MN for the KM $150 "Shake Your Body" offer. I am going to order either the 28-75 or the 24-105 from 17th St. Photo, not sure yet. I am leaning toward the 28-75. My 17-35 (D) lens order from Dell will be here next week. Really sorry I missed the 15% offer from Del. Oh well!

I ordered mine during the weekend as well, shipping is supossed to be december 8. I hope I will not end-up waiting like you, I'm leaving for south in vacation on the 12 and I would really like to bring my new 7D with me.

Good luck for you delivery, I know what is the feeling of waiting !

I know how you feel. When the Maxxum 7D was announced early in the fall, it was supposed to be available in October, when I ordered it. I was in Hawaii in Mid October, and it would have been fantastic to have had it with me there!!! But I have it a week, now!!

What day next week does it say? Mine has said 11/23 for the last 2
weeks or so. I have been waiting since the 11th.

I ordered on the 11th as well. I've asked for an update and they tell me it is the 6th, but that is not reflected on the order status. They did give me an upgrade to next day delivery.

Got mine dekivered from B&H 2 weeks ago. They sold out in 2 hours according to the KM rep I talked to.
 
Ordered M7D on Nov 11th & it arrived Nov 24th.
Called Dell up about the extra 5% and got a credit for that too.

Dell seemed to be pretty good about the whole Deal.

I ordered on 11/11 mid day. I just noticed my status has changed to shipped! Looks like they just go a delivery. My 5600 Flash has also shipped.

My order, placed on 11/25/04 has a new ship date of 1/19/05. It was 12/8/04.

No eamil or anthing, I was just checking. On the plus side, the Minolta 17-35D and the grip are both still discounted 15% on the Small Business side.

where are you seeing the revised ship date? I ordered on 11/25 also and my ship date is still 12/8.

I ordered on 11/11 early morning with their 10% discount. They shipped on 22nd. I've got it on 29th. (free shipping - ground)

Congratulations, hopefully they got a BIG shipment. I ordered mine 6PM EST 11/24. On 11/29 ship date was shown as 12/8. On 11/30 ship date changed to "Currently one or more items are backordered. Every effort is being made to complete the order" Today, message is the same.

I got in "My Accounts" and click on order status and I get a list of orders placed. I click on the &D order number and get an order details page and it says

Date of Purchase: 11/25/2004
Estimated Ship Date: on or before01/19/2005

When I placed the order, and when I checked over the week end, the Estimated ship date was 12/8/04.

This is not a problem for me but it might be for others so I wanted to post it. It doesn't sound like it ihas changed for anyone else, either.
