Just like the other poster said, it is 1.7x and came before the Olympus Tcon-1.7x. The B-300 is difficult to find now, I would go with the Tcon-17. If you do a quick search on http://www.pricegrabber.com you will find plenty of places selling the Tcon-1.7x Good luck!
