Animals #7 - Monkeys, Chimps, and Gorillas!

Yes! I do remember! In fact just this week I was wondering if you'd been, and if you'd come back to the boards to let me see your photos. So glad you enjoyed Phillip Island....it's a lovely place.

And your penguin shot is fantastic! I was so happy when I got mine, cos I didn't think we were gonna see any penguins that day.

I'm off to see your pics and I will leave my sig in the guest book.

Hi Gayle, do you remember advising me to go to Phillip Island about
two months ago?? Well I went to Oz and visited the island, what a
beautiful beautiful place it is, so much to see and do and we went
to the Penguin Parade too, amazing!!!!!! Got loads of pics as one
does and the one you posted of the penguin under the boardwalk?,
well I got the same shot can you believe it?, I'll try post it here

What do you think?, also the selection of shots from the whole
holiday is here, please take a look and sign my guestbook?

Thanks for your kind comments, as you did I had to lie down on the boardwalk, face down and look under towards my feet and take the shot, it was so dark but I didn't use flash and lightened using 'levels' in PS.
Hope you enjoyed the Oz pics. Thanks for looking.

What's worth a thousand words? Well, it's in the eye of the beholder.

Mine were all taken with the Canon 55-200mm 4.5-5.6 USM. The first two were taken at 200mm.

Gayle
if you're going to post a pic please tell us what lens you used?
Thanks!

Not sure what this guy was thinking but he seemed deep into it.

Heaven sends snowmen to earth unassembled!

This time around, it's monkeys, chimps, and gorillas next in the
animal series. As always, rebel shots are great, but all shots
excepted.
Oh boy, I know I don't have any shots yet of these wonderful
animals, so somebody please be kind enough to kick things off.
Thanks!
Exactly how I looked when my last salary review was announced...

Any reason why there's always such a big space between your
messages and your signature?
Isabel
Goes back to my BBS days, when taglines always went at the bottom of the page, so it doesn't look like part of your reply to a single person.
P.S. I don't have any good monkey, chimp or gorilla shots! We're
too far from a zoo....but you remind me I have a free night
awaiting at a Hampton Inn in Asheboro, NC...might be a good time to
use it! (I complained about the vent system which kept me up all
night and they gave us a free night)
That's a good thing. What was wrong with the vents?
