This time around, it's monkeys, chimps, and gorillas next in the animal series. As always, rebel shots are great, but all shots excepted.

Oh boy, I know I don't have any shots yet of these wonderful animals, so somebody please be kind enough to kick things off. Thanks!

Here are two of mine. They were taken in the zoo behind the glass which is a difficult situation.

Actually, I've got a lot more than 3 after a visit to the Melbourne zoo a few weeks ago. But I'll restrain myself ;-)

Nice photo, Murphy. Is it just resting? Looks like it's partly covered up with that white cloth.

Thanks Mike. It was a cold morning and all the primates had what I think were burlap bags to help keep them warm. I don't post many photos since I'm colorblind and there's no telling what I'd do to a photo. I'm really dangerous with PS. I sure enjoy the threads you get going.

I find it very difficult to capture the eyes. Because of the deep brow the eyes are so often shadowed this is one of my best.

What's worth a thousand words? Well, it's in the eye of the beholder.

Any reason why there's always such a big space between your messages and your signature?
Isabel

P.S. I don't have any good monkey, chimp or gorilla shots! We're too far from a zoo....but you remind me I have a free night awaiting at a Hampton Inn in Asheboro, NC...might be a good time to use it! (I complained about the vent system which kept me up all night and they gave us a free night)
