What lenses do you want to see made by Nikon?

My zoom desires:

24-105 f/2.8 AFS VR (with macro)

70-300 f/4 AFS VR

80-400 f/4 AFS VR

200-500 f/4-5.6 ED-IF AF-S VR. Fast AF, reasonable price
(around $1,500.)

I know, it'll never happen (the upcoming 200-400VR
will be priced at well over $5,000...)

I would love to see a low light zoom, though I suspect physically impossible, such as either:

28-85mm f1.4 (even if just a three lengths, 28,50 & 85,instead of continueous-sp??)
Or, a 35-135mm f2.0.

Like an 85mm macro with with a huge aperture of at least 1.0 and stellar bokeh. Check out Bjorn's article regarding huge apertures to see why I would want something like this.

I'd simply like Nikon to come out with more tilt-shift lenses. A 24 would be a good start.

AF-S 70-300 VR take the 70-300ED and work up from there. I figure it will weight a few ounces more for the VR and cost a couple of hundred more. Basically similar in specs and build quality to the AF-S24-120VR.

It would also make a nice lens to carry around with the AF 24-120 VR.

Other then that, I would like to see more of the lenses with the silent wave motor and with VR where it makes sense.

Keeping in mind I would have to pay for it.

dx 45-150 f2 or 2.8 or f2-2.8 nice compliment tp 17-55

12mm f4 or 4.5 dx (small, light & sharp)

some super sharp high res DX primes, if ff is not an option

For example, I really, really wish they would make an AFS (or any sort of AF) 35mm f/1.4.

For a pretend "dream lens" I wouldn't mind seeing an 85mm 1.4 af-s VR, and a 200mm 2.8 macro (micro in Nikon talk) with VR. Both free of charge since this is all a dream!

As for what's available now, I wouldn't mind a 70-200 2.8 VR (or maybe a 80-200 af-s, I'm not sure yet) and a 17-35 2.8 af-s. I won't have those for a while, but they're on my list.

I just wish they'd make the 18mm f/2.8 a little cheaper, say in the range of the 20mm... I guess they can make it DX if they want.

BUT, the dream machines would be:

16mm f/1.4 DX, THAT would give me my most wanted of all times 24mm f/1.4 equivalent.

I would also accept 18mm f/1.4 DX, in turn to replace the 28mm f/1.4, but I'm not sure I'd find it wide enough...
As for zoom lenses, same we already have, 12-24, but f/2.8.

I don't see how I could get much happier with something else... OUH !
60mm f/1.4 AF-S... that's for the 85

BUT, to admit it freely... a 35mm-sized sensor would make me even happier since I could use what's already on the market and I'm sure it would cost less than wild stuff like all those near impossible DX lenses

How about a 0.67 VR Focal Reducer? We could get our original focal lengths back and add VR at the same time! I'd pay up to $500 for that...
