any good?

The stand out is clearly the one you previewed here, Yellow Stone. Well composed and presented, stark, contrasty and atmospheric. Very good.

The skyscapes are fine, but not great. Such pics are quite commonplace and need a good foreground silhouette to really work.

The first Yellowstone just seems to be a picture of a tree. There's not enough context to give it any interest.

I like the snowy peak. It almost looks like it's floating. A decent shot. Seems a little noisy, or is that due to situational factors?

If you do decide to buy a 300D I'm sure you'll have great fun with it.

Regards

huh? did you take those with the 300d? I am not sure I understand your post. The gallery said winter 2002...so they are probably taken with another camera..if so then what exactly do you want to know about those photos? not sure what's the relation to the 300d? Do you wish to know if the 300D can take such photos? then yes it can.

Nice shot of Mammoth. When were you there. Was the mountain taken there too. We live there five months in the summer and here in Virginia the rest of the year.

Lovely shots. Get you a Rebel D and enjoy it all the more.

Come on, Daniella, the guy is sharing some nice photos. I'm always up for that no matter what camera took them.

Dave,

I was in Yellow Stone back in 95, but this is not a shot of Mammoth. It was close to it though. Here is a shot of Mammoth.

The mountain that is floating in the clouds was taken in Golden BC during the winter of 2002.

This is a busy group. Please come back with 300D pictures. Otherwise, off-topic is a little inconsiderate. If you're just fishing for compliments, ask your mother.

300D - It's a great camera, even if it isn't black
