70-200VR Light Grey?

Just recently my company bought me some equipment. I Few months ago when I made the wishlist I asked for the 28-70 and 70-200 to be light grey in color. The 28-70 was, but as for the 70-200 VR I was told buy the local Nikon dealer who supplies my company that after an inquiry in The Netherlands they where informed it is not available in that color at all (yet). True or are they just getting rid of me? I dont mind using the black version at all, just being curious.

When I ordered mine from bhphotovideo com I was asked about the version I prefer: light or dark.
I went for the black one.

How much is it for the white and for the black?

Is it as sharp as the previous AFS version?
