I was just learning to work on cars when they started to get hard to work on. I feel like I missed something.

I was just getting into photography at the end of the era when a full mechanical camera was feasible. I think I was born about 20 years too late.

What? Modern cars with computer chips & sophisticated electronic system - that's your Forte - you're an Electrical Engineer.

Well, I still use film cameras - not often enough tho. Sounds weird but there's fun in waiting for prints to come in the mail. Plus it slows me down to think of composition, exposure and subject matters before pushing the shutter button. And 35mm is Full Frame - I can't afford a full frame digital - also I'm stuck with a single ISO for the entire roll. But there's something about the process - loading and winding film - focusing on split screen microprism. Good Ole Pentax K1000 and Nikon FM - fully mechanical and still works without battery which was just to power the exposure meter.

Well, there still are die hard film shooters or use it as a backup to their dslr.
