Welcome,

Whatever your cameras and whether you post snapshots or museum quality photographs, please know that you are most welcome!

Please
1. Post your photos first, as a reply to this post before you view or comment on other posts.
A maximum of 5 or 6 per post, please. Post again if you need.

2. IMPORTANT: Please replace the Sunday BIRD title with a title that describes your photos.)
3. If you can, please ID your birds, we have readers all over the world and many will not know yours.

(If you don’t know the IDs by all means ask.)
4. Please don’t put your photos inside a reply to another poster, because the rest of us won’t see them.

Great Story Brad. I vaguely remember one of the neighbours nursing animals back to health when I was young as well but no specifics.

Beautiful bird. Think I need to get some berry bushes growing in the back. I'd like to see more of them.

Another great series. Almost a continuation from the previous week.

I'm guessing the red one is female? (Only because the one on the far left looks like he can't get a word in or a seed out edgewise :) )

Nice captures Pam

I just set up a hummingbird feeder but they haven't found it yet (four days?). There's two here that buzz about from time to time and I see a feeder on my neighbour's deck but they're moving and it's empty.

A tough composition when the main attraction is a bit shy or doesn't want to pose, and it's a bit overcast. But a nest means you can keep going back!

Thanks for sharing Stan.

Where in Canada are you? That light looks suspiciously Vancouver-esque.

Nice captures given the complications, and I agree with Pam and Bob, the second shot has that thing!

thanks for sharing

Thanks Ron :-)
keep the feeder out...they still may use it...if the neighbors left it empty...they will move on to other feeders...fingers crossed they come to yours :-) I never get tired of watching/shooting them...such an amazing little bird...They love the Trumpet vine I have planted...took this last year...
