After two relaxing weeks in Malaysia I am back at work :(

I enjoyed going back to this beautiful country. One week in Kuala Lumpur, one week at the Cherating resort.
My HX9V served me quite pleasantly. I took just over 800 shots.
Hope you enjoy these few!
Regards
Ben

Colorific photos ! Looks like One could be busy there with a camera for a while, day or night. Great scenes and colors ! :)

Thank you! Yes that part of the world offers fantastic photo shooting opportunities in the cities as well in country areas. I keep going back... when I can!

Was it hot and humid :D
Hi Alan,
Though it was the monsoon season we had very good weather, cloudy but fine.

Daily temperature in KL vary from about 28C to 32C throughout the year. Humidity is supportable, considering however that you would spend most of the time in (huge) shopping complexes and amusement parks. We spent one week on the East cost at Club Med Cherating (we hired a full bus instead of flying from KL...great fun!) where temperature is much cooler and very little humidity.
Very enjoyable!!
Cheers

Pictures are phenomenal! In DPR forums maybe 10% of SLR pictures are so good.
Your talent is given by God.
Is the first picture made in HDR mode? I adore Sony's HDR and HHT modes.
(I'm sorry for my English).

Thank you Alex for your very kind comments!
I do enjoy photography but it's the camera that delivers results ;)

All photos were taken in P mode. I have set three programs in the camera with ISO 100, 200 and 400 respectively and I use either one as I think necessary. most of the shooting settings are fairly standard.
If you use PhotoMe exif reader you can see all the settings used in each photo.
Thanks again and best regards,
Ben

Very nice set of pics.

I especially liked the ones of the dragon in the Pavilion shopping mall. I have a HX9V myself and its a very handy and capable camera to travel with, or just have with you.
