Canon 7D in stores tomorrow!

I just found out from a couple of stores in the Toronto aea including a big box store, the Canon 7D is being picked up at Canon's warehouse today, Friday, and will be for sale tomorrow, Saturday.

Try Aden Camera and Henrys but imagine all or most retailers are in the same boat. Enjoy your new toy

Geez I don't even know why I'm asking all these questions. I'm getting all worked up and I know I'll probably get one. Same as last year LOL. I already have a buyer for my 50D. There is another post from someone who got theirs. They say the auto focus is very fast.

Well, they should get in touch with their HO The 1-800 on the Henrys website. The cameras will be in the store at Aden camera today BUT there is an 'embargo' until tomorrow Saturday when they can actually sell it.

I imagine we'll get to see some test shots this weekend from those who have picked up theirs this weekend.

Henrys and Aden Camera and probably other stores within driving distance of Canon Canada's warehouse in Mississuaga will pick up their shipment of 7D's today or this weekend. Stores farther away, like in Calgary, may take a few more days or so depending on shipping arrangements, etc.

Anyone can SAY they have one today (maybe the guy works at a store) ;-) I imagine quite a few people in the Toronto area will have one tomorrow.

looks like next week for the US

big game tomorrow, oh well (the last few canon releases have always been a day or two after a big event for me, I think that is how you know when the US release will be ).

So, you should probably be able to find a couple of 7D units here and there at some smaller retail outlets in Toronto, if you go early.

Thanks Eug. I have pre-ordered very early with Henry's, but they always seem slow getting new stuff.
